Trinbagonian Animals

This winter I spent two weeks in gorgeous Trinidad and Tobago for a much needed vacation from the cold.  The islands of Trinidad and Tobago are a travelers paradise.  What more could a nature lover ask for than mountains, rainforests, beaches, and coral reefs all in one easily navigable location?  Well they could ask for super-friendly and hospitable locals (check!), amazingly tasty food (check!), and all of that at a fair price (check!).  Of course, while on the islands I took a few pictures of the local animals.  Not my usual studio style, but something fun nonetheless.

Indy and Sienna

Finally, here are a few photographs of Indy (basset hound) and Sienna (boxer) hanging out together.  These dogs really knew how to work for the camera.

Sienna and Indy - Boxer and Basset Hound

Indy the basset hound came to the studio to be photographed along with her three sisters Jazz and Sydney (cats) and Sienna (boxer).  Indy was far and away the most laid back of the bunch.  In fact, one of the reasons her parents had decided to get a basset hound was as a doggy life coach.  When you think about it, who wouldn’t benefit from some basset hound life lessons: get lots of sleep, learn to relax, eat regular meals, don’t sweat the small stuff, and be sure to get head and ear massages whenever possible.  I’m going to add this to the list of reasons why dog owners live longer.
