Enya, Royce, Jersey and Clover

Break out your ruffs and collars, because Sebastian thinks it’s Hallowe’en is getting a little sophisticated with some purebred friends today.

Here at the Jason KB studio, I recently had the pleasure of spending some time with Enya, Royce, Jersey, and Clover; all four of whom are a rare breed of dog known as Dogue de Bordeaux. With pedigrees like theirs, names like those, and a French lineage, I was understandably intimidated.

Prior to their arrival, I was a ball of nerves. I paced back and forth, practising my French and trying to remember which fork is for salad and which is for the main course. I was totally expecting four very prim, proper and aristocratic dogs to come padding lightly through Jason’s door.

Turns out, I needn’t have worried. These four dogs were an absolute joy and completely down-to-earth. As a breed, the Dogue de Bordeaux is a bit lazy, so right off the bat, I had something in common with these four. We spent the afternoon napping, lazing about and arguing over who had to go and get the ball, since they were the closest.

Enya, Royce, Jersey and Clover hail from the Milestone Bordeaux breeding family and they also actively compete in dog shows all across the USA and Canada. They’re a healthy, happy bunch and they were a lot of fun to have around the studio.

Have a look below to see some more photos of Enya, Royce, Jersey, and Clover and while you’re at it, you can also check out the Milestone Bordeaux website

As always, more photos from all of the Jason KB photo sessions are available on the Jason KB Photo facebook page.
