Consultation
We want all our clients to have confidence that they are making the right decision to commission work from Jason KB Photo. All of our potential clients are invited to come by our studio for a free consultation. During the consultation you can check out our past works and view samples of all of the products that we sell. At this time we will describe for you in depth how our photo sittings work. If you are too busy to make it to the studio then we can walk you through this process by phone. At this time we will also learn more about you and your pet to help us tailor the session to both of your needs and to ensure that we capture your pet’s unique personality.
Portrait Session

A typical studio portrait session will last about two hours. Upon your arrival at the studio we will review your goals for the session and figure out the best way to work with your animal. We will take a large number of photographs, using a variety of poses, lighting setups, and backdrops, to ensure that there will be a wide range of images for you to choose from. During the session Jason shoots directly to his computer so that you can see exactly how the portraits look as we go. This gives you the opportunity to provide feedback throughout the session. Jason’s assistant is present throughout the session to help make sure that things run smoothly and to ensure that your animal is smiling for the camera. Following the shoot we will narrow down the images to our favourite 30-40 to make ordering choices easier for you. Our studio is conveniently located in downtown Toronto.
Ordering Session

One or two weeks after your pet’s portrait session you will return to the studio for an ordering appointment. At this time we will present a projector slideshow of our selected images and we will go through them together to help you determine which ones you’d like to order as your final products. We make use of industry leading projector software that allows you to see your favourite images in all of the different sizes and finishes that we offer. We can even superimpose your chosen images to scale onto the walls of your home. You’ll know exactly what your artwork will look like and feel confident about your investment.
